Principal's Message

Dear Pa‘auilo Elementary and Intermediate School Families,

Aloha and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Pa‘auilo Elementary and Intermediate
School! I am thrilled to welcome both returning and new students, as well as their families, to
our school ‘ohana. It is with great excitement that I step into this school year, eager to continue
building upon the strong foundation of excellence that makes our school so special.

This year, our dedicated team of teachers and staff are ready to inspire, challenge, and support
each student in their academic and personal growth. We are committed to creating a safe,
nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive. Our goal is to
empower students with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to achieve their full
potential and become lifelong learners.

As we prepare for the first day of school, I would like to highlight a few important details:

  • School Hours: School hours will be from 8:00 am to 2:15 pm Monday, Tuesday
Thursday and Friday. Our hours on Wednesday at 8:00 am to 1:15pm. Please be sure to
review our arrival and dismissal procedures, which can be found on our website or in the
    school office.
  • Communication: Staying connected is key to a successful school year. I encourage all
families to make sure you are connected with us on Parent Square and follow us on social
    media.
  • Health and Safety: The health and safety of our students and staff remain our top
priority. If you child is sick, please call the office and let us know they will be out of
school. Should they miss several days we recommend a doctor’s note so we can put it
    down as an excused absence.

At Pa‘auilo Elementary and Intermediate, we believe that education is a partnership between the
school, students, and families. We value your involvement and look forward to working closely
with you to support your child’s education. Whether it’s through attending school events,
volunteering, or simply staying informed, your participation is vital to our school community.

I am honored to serve as your Principal and am committed to making this school year a positive
and memorable one for all of our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to reach out to me or any of our dedicated staff members. Together, we can make this
school year a successful and rewarding experience for everyone.

Mahalo nui loa for your continued support and partnership.

With warmest regards,

Maegan MacGregor
